Three individuals were confirmed dead in a series of attacks at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday. The victims were reportedly security personnel, and the motive behind the assault remains unclear. The attacks occurred in the evening local time, shortly after the airport's busiest travel period, when thousands of passengers were on their way to or from international destinations.

Details about the perpetrators and the extent of the damage are still emerging, but officials have confirmed that the airport's security systems were breached, allowing multiple assailants to gain access to the terminal. Saudi authorities have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident, with assistance from international partners.

Eyewitnesses described chaotic scenes and widespread panic, as passengers and staff scrambled to respond to the sudden attack. King Abdulaziz International Airport is a major hub for Saudi Airlines and a key transit point for flights between Europe, Asia, and Africa, with millions of passengers passing through its gates every year.
